The Campaign Film
Themes of duality, fluidity and identity are explored throughout the Spring/Summer 2022 campaign, with Mert and Marcus capturing a film that echoes a nonchalant sense of confidence. Throughout the campaign, the duo’s studio shots are juxtaposed with photographer Chris Rhodes’ intimate, candid creations.
‘Animal Instinct’, the womenswear collection, fiercely embraces the body – celebrating individuality, confidence and freedom of expression. Daring cut-outs and cropped proportions reinterpret the iconic Burberry trench with new sensuality, while abstract animal motifs conjure a wild and freeing sensibility.
For the menswear collection, ‘Universal Passport’, an experimental sense of freedom challenges sartorial convention – a notion that’s translated through reconstructed heritage outerwear, non-conforming tailoring and cut-out details that bring a rebellious slant to staple silhouettes.
